Since 2014, Ferrari has not been sequential in naming its race cars. Starting from the F14T, then the SF15-T (2015), SF16-H (2017), and SF70H (2018). Meanwhile, in the last three years, the name of the Italian manufacturer’s car has been F90 (2019), SF1000 (2020), and SF21, which was used for the 2021 season.

The Ferrari F1-75, which will be driven by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, will be launched online at a presentation event on 17 February. The two drivers and teams then head to the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya for the first official pre-season test from 23 to 25 February.

After that, Leclerc-Sainz visited the Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain to undergo the next test session. This is scheduled to take place from 10 to 12 March. Scuderia Ferrari managed to rise from adversity in the 2020 season by securing third place in the final constructors’ standings.

However, the position of the pilot duo was not so encouraging. Sainz is indeed perched in fifth place. He however lost to Sergio Perez (Red Bull Racing). Meanwhile, Leclerc’s teammate had to admit Sainz’s superiority and was forced to occupy the seventh position, behind Lando Norris (McLaren). The opening round of the 2022 Formula 1 will be held at the Sakhir Circuit, Bahrain, on March 20.
